RZD Trading House is the official representative of Russian Railways (RZD) on foreign markets and exports materials, equipment, technologies and services of railway complex and related industries (http://www.eng.rzd.ru/page.html?nav_id=244). We also work on several projects based on innovative technologies.
One of such projects is production of modified wood. As a result of modification, low value wood (alder, birch, aspen, poplar)becomes superior to oak and beech in physico-chemical properties. We can offer modified wood in bricks (their further processing does not require any special equipment). We are also planning to export railroad sleepers made of modified wood. We can perform full-cell impregnation (with coal-tar or shale oil, etc.) in accordance with the customer`s specifications. |
