Blacktown Timber Pty Ltd was established in 1972 by the Taylor family, who are fifth generation timber merchants. Blacktown Timber is today, a global trading company involved in importing, exporting, manufacturing and wholesaling a wide range of timber and forest products to the following markets:

Blacktown Timber was awarded an 揙utstanding Entrant?in the 2007 Australian Institute of Export 揘SW Premiers Export Awards?and winner of the 慪oung Exporter of the Year?in 2010.
Blacktown Timber is committed to sourcing and supplying only those timbers meeting the strict policies of sustainable forest management. In adhering to this commitment, we support the principles of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the criteria of the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and support the Australian Forestry Standard (AFS). This ensures the forests from which we source our timber are guaranteed for the long-term, providing a renewable resource whilst simultaneously protecting and managing the environment.
Blacktown Timber has achieved the prestigious Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody certification for the sustainable procurement and production of forest products. Blacktown Timber has also met the requirements of certification via the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), and we endorse the initiatives of the Australian Forestry Standard (AFS), a clear demonstration of our commitment to the environment and our will to source product from only sustainably managed forests.
