Global Investment Enterprise is an IMPORT and EXPORT Company that was created on the 5th ofMay 2011. But the company obtained finally her license to operate Import and Export, Exploitation of the Cameroon FOREST on the 5th of May 2012. The head office is at Mile 03 Street Nkwen Bamenda, the Northwest Region of Cameroon. But has its log yard and sawmills in Douala, the economic capital of Cameroon.
The company exports sawn timber of varying species, veneers and sell logs of different dimensions:

- Azobe
- Iroko
- Padouck
- Acajou
- Bilinga
- And many other species just to name e few.

Timber exploitation is our number one activity and so all engineers in the field are thoroughly professionals who have master their job and have acquired skills for over 30 years working experience.

We treat our wood KILN DRIED and the logs are harvested from trees above 40 years of age. This means the plank from these trees are very much ready to support production of railways, bridges, houses and other heavy duty demands.

Our Botanist ensures that the logs are free from mud warms, bore wholes, or any log diseases of any kind. The logs are square and round with straight trunks.

We cuts logs in 2 main dimensions; 2.1 meters and 5.1 meters.
Sawing is done following the specifications prescribed by our clients. But normally we saw from 2.1, 5.1 and up to 12.0m in length. Width measures from 80mm to 300mm. thickness as from 80mm.
The moisture content for logs fresh cut is about 70%. But for sawn planks after KILN DRIED, is from 10% and up to 19.25%. Girth -1+,-10+ and up.
The diameter of logs small size = 47cm and up while for large logs = 80cm and up to 120cm.

In Cameroon, the most renowned quality check is the SGS and the Cameroon chamber of commerce. But we alloy our clients to choose a third party for quality inspection of their choice. But our system set in place to check quality is carefully managed and so to keep our customers ever satisfied.
