Let us begin to look a few years back. We have come a bit into the new millennium. And can see that the development has been very positive. We have increased our volumes and nearly 300 000 m3 of timber per year pass through our facility today.

While the company evolve and change is much the same. On Bodafors Wood we're building on our roots. Traditions and objectives established for 70 years ago are living in utterly still. Our values we have retained, we work well. It is technology that is changing and where we continue to be at the forefront of developments. That we continue to invest in modern production is a major factor in increasing volumes.

It is equally important to look ahead. Sawmill industry developed, and with it we are. Perhaps the relationship is sometimes the opposite? On Bodafors Wood would like to see that we feed into the development of the industry. We operate a continuous process of change and we continually assess how we are to evolve in the times we live in and what future we want to be part of creating. In recent decades we have worked towards becoming a complete and effective tr鋠aruf鰎鋎lare. The work will continue. We aim also to produce more manufactured wood and to develop our logistics and warehousing. In order to maintain and enhance our market position, we will continue our investments in modern technology.

Another important part of our business is working towards an ecologically sustainable society. Climate has never been more relevant than they are today. As a modern company, we see it as obvious that we must take our responsibility to the environment. Therefore we have developed climate for our business, which include reduced emissions of carbon dioxide are included. We are also investing heavily in bio-energy and see it as an important step in the evolution towards a more environmentally friendly society.

Development is important for Bodafors Wood, and whether it is about investing in a modern sawmill technology, alternative energy sources or developing staff. Development will take us forward, together with our competent and dedicated staff we look forward to a positive future for Bodafors Wood.
