The Schwaiger Sawmill Nowadays:
We are a nearby the gate to the Bavarian Forest. The location of the enterprise is directly by the motorway A 3 connection points Hengersberg, possibly concentric between Regensburg and Passau. During the last years our enterprise has specialised in the production of timber (wood for roof structures), with an incision capacity of approximately 850 000 cbm of logs per year. But also the incision of mass-produced assortments and commercial standard products gains increasingly more importance. On account of the seasonally conditional fluctuations in the building, our assistants work according to a special year working hours model in 3 shifts. At rush hours we receive daily approximately 100 - 110 loads of logs. Mainly we supply only spruce and fir from Bavarian forests which are demanded to 50% in lengths of 17 to 21 m. The remaining 50% are delivered in sections from 3 ?5 m.
