In Creuzburg, Aschaffenburg and Malchow, Pollmeier runs the most efficient hardwood sawmills in Europe. We work extremely efficient at all locations, using the most up-to-date technology. As the first hardwood lumber producer we have put trendsetting ideas into action at our sawmills, which have already been implemented successfully in the automobile industry.

Our more than 400 employees in production and administration on our 35 ha company grounds in Creuzburg work everyday to optimise our quality range. We want to ensure that our customers continue receiving beech timber of the highest cost effectiveness from Pollmeier in the future as well.

Our annual turnover in logs is approximately 500,000 cu. m., whereas the capacity of the company's own watered logyard is 200,000 cu. m.

Our highly optimised and customised machinery in combination with over 100 steaming and drying units guarantee.. a daily production capacity of at least 800 cu. m. of sawn timber.
