The company Bremer Holzwerke GmbH started its own business in 2001, after taking over the traditional planning company Steinbruegge & Berninghausen GmbH. Modernization of the company's machinery and facilities, and the excellent infrastructure of the international port of Bremen have given the company a strong market position.

With a turnover of more than 45 million Euros the company has a strong market position. Totally we are importing 150.000 cbm wood products from all over the world.

Bremer Holzwerke is one of Germany's most reputable planning mills and importer of plywood and wood panels.Fifty highly qualified and experienced employees are on the company's payroll, twelve of them being sales representatives.

Using the most advanced lacquering and planing techniques, we manufacture 65.000 cbm of panels for interior and exterior applications every year. We are able to provide primed fassade-boards, as well as double or triple-color-lacquer coatings with every color required. Offering wood products such as wall and ceiling panels, floors and fassades, the company preferably uses spruce and pine from forests run in accordance with economical and ecological regulations in Scandinavia, Russia, and the Baltic Republics. The product portfolio includes floorboards made of solid wood, profile-wood boards in all the standard sizes, and weather-resistant panels as well as surface refinement. Every year, we treat about 800.000 m?with the surface refinement system AS-Aqua Stop. Some 100.000 m?are treated with TS- Transparent dull-finish lacquer. The high quality of the products is guaranteed thanks to the opto-electronic sorting. The company offers highly precise state-of-the-art planning techniques, profile grinding, vacuum technology with infra-red and UV hardening for unblocking fassade lacquers, and in addition, focuses on the application of advanced environmental technology in every production stage.

Our clients are major traditionally timber-wholesalers all across Europe, which require quality products, manufactured in strict accordance with regulations of environmental protection. Operating is mainly within Germany but we do a lot export to countries like Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Poland, Turkey, Hungary, Italy, Austria and even Japan.
