Torex Ltd. is the largest European manufacturer of wooden curtain poles. Through our fully integrated Product Development Department (design, prototypes, tooling, sampling) we can react quickly to developing market trends and satisfy customers requests quickly and with great flexibility. This enables us also to manufacture products to individual clients specifications. In 2003 the company was awarded ISO 9001:2000 Certification and all of our solid wood products have carried the FSC seal since the start of the company.
Our annual production of wood curtain poles is in excess of 2 million sets. We produce poles and accessories in a large number of sizes: 11, 18, 20, 23, 28, 35 and 50 mm diameter. Production is highly mechanized and carried out on state of the art woodworking machines allowing volume production to the highest quality standards Finishing Two methods are used in our factory: 1. Water based friendly U.V. resistant finishing. 2. Transfer finishing A wood grain pattern is transferred to the pole producing a consistent finish matching components perfectly. |
